The popular commuter bike Honda Shine 125 has officially been launched in India with its new 2025 model. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India introduced the updated version on 12 February 2025 with several new features and design upgrades.
Engine and Performance
The 2025 Honda Shine 125 comes with a 123.94cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that now meets the latest OBD2B emission norms. It produces around 10.63 bhp of power and 11 Nm of torque, offering smooth and reliable performance for daily commuting.
Design and Features
In terms of design, the new Shine 125 retains its classic commuter styling but gets modern touches with a fully digital instrument cluster. This new display shows real-time mileage, distance-to-empty, and a gear-position indicator. Honda has also added a USB Type-C charging port and an idling-stop system, which automatically switches off the engine at traffic signals to save fuel.The bike also features a wider rear tyre (90-section) for improved road grip and stability.

The 2025 Honda Shine 125 is available in six attractive colours – Pearl Igneous Black, Geny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue.

The new Honda Shine 125 is priced at ₹84,493 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the drum brake variant and ₹89,245 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the disc brake variant.
